Verification of PO2 Temperature Correction Factor during Hypothermic Cardiopulmonary Bypass

This study quantitatively investigates two methods of temperature correcting P02 values during hypothermic cardiopulmonary bypass. The magnitude of error associated with the linear temperature correction technique increased steadily with decreasing blood temperature, whereas the Kelman-Nunn correction technique closely estimated the reference PO2 in all cases.
